Austin Theory reportedly removed from WWE’s active roster internally

As seen during the July 21st 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Grayson Waller announced that his tag team with Austin Theory was disbanded due to Theory being “injured.” Waller later published a statement to his Twitter/X account and claimed that he wasted two years of his career teaming with Theory.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, WWE sources have confirmed that Theory has been removed from the company’s active roster internally. Cory Hays of BodySlam.net noted that “this happens when a talent is unable to be on the road for something.” While there were references made to Theory being injured on WWE programming, the nature of his issue is currently unknown.

Theory’s last match was on July 14th 2025 taping of Main Event against El Grande Americano. Theory is still listed on WWE.com’s roster page.
