Austin Theory addresses WWE Wrestlemania 40 internet rumor about himself and Grayson Waller

As seen during the WWE Wrestlemania 40 Saturday PLE, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller won the WWE tag team titles in a six-pack challenge ladder match. Prior to the event, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that Theory and Waller were not listed on a Wrestlemania lineup despite qualifying for the event. This led to speculation that Theory and Waller were possibly going to be replaced in the match.

While speaking on the Babyfaces podcast, Theory was asked about the internet rumor…

“I didn’t see it, but I heard a lot about it. I was like, ‘Wow, somebody just wakes up and types something on the internet and everybody believes it.’ I love it because it explains that there is just a bunch of idiots out there. When it comes to me and Grayson Waller, there was no way we weren’t going to be in the tag team ladder match. We’re the best team, all-around, on both rosters.
