Another update on Jeff Hardy’s June 2022 DUI arrest

As previously noted, Jeff Hardy was arrested early Monday morning. Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com later reported details about Hardy’s arrest from the police report.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Hardy was bonded out of jail in Volusia County, Florida this evening at 7:07 PM. A $3,500 bond was paid via the assistance of a bail bondsman. Hardy had been slated to appear in court tomorrow but that appearance is currently listed as “canceled.”

TMZ.com provided additional information about Hardy’s arrest…

“Police say they received four separate calls regarding the Charger’s ‘poor driving pattern.’ Cops say when they finally caught up to the vehicle, it was ‘traveling significantly under the speed limit, weaving across travel lanes, and running off the shoulder of the roadway.'”

“Hardy’s license was suspended following his two previous convictions for driving under the influence. They also noted he ‘had a driving restriction which required him to have an interlock device in his vehicle,’ which they said his Charger did not have.”

As of Monday night, AEW has not publicly commented on the matter but Hardy’s tag-team title ladder match was not included in today’s promotional material for AEW Dynamite. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated the following about the situation…

“While AEW has not said anything publicly [Warner Bros. Discovery] was told to stop all promotion of Jeff Hardy in any commercials or anywhere else immediately. They have stopped promoting the three-way ladder match for Wednesday and not sure if they will have a tag team title match with just the two teams or not.”
