Andrade scheduled to wrestle against Alberto Del Rio

SuperLuchas.com first reported the news that former WWE star Andrade is scheduled to compete in a match against Alberto Del Rio at the Nación Lucha Libre event on July 31st in McAllen, Texas. Nación Lucha Libre was operated by Del Rio and Chavo Guerrero Jr until January of 2020 but is being re-launched.

Del Rio issued the following comments…

“For the first time they are going to see what people on the Internet have been asking for, for a long time – Andrade against Alberto del Rio. I don’t think we have ever seen a poster of such magnitude featuring two Mexican stars in Texas.”

In January, it was reported that Del Rio’s trial for alleged aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault was scheduled to begin on Monday, May 3rd.
