AJ Styles issues response to criticism of Road Dogg being named co-lead writer for WWE Smackdown
Over the weekend, it was reported that WWE Hall of Famer “Road Dogg” Brian James has been named as the new co-lead writer for the Smackdown brand after previous being part of the creative team in 2017. Twitter/X user @EliteClubS0B was among the fans that criticized the news by writing the following message…
“He [James] was the lead writer of SmackDown in 2017, and the show’s quality was awful. All the dude did was yap on Twitter about how genius his booking was.”
AJ Styles addressed the negative comments and seemingly referenced Vince McMahon making the final creative decisions during the time James was previously a writer…
