AEW’s Jon Moxley wins the IWGP world title at NJPW Windy City Riot
At New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Windy City Riot event on Friday night, AEW’s Jon Moxley defeated Tetsuya Naito in the main event to win the IWGP world title. This makes Moxley the first wrestler to hold the WWE, AEW, and IWGP world titles.
Following the match, Moxley nominated Shota Umino as his first challenger but was attacked by Ren Narita. Umino made the save for Moxley.
