AEW star out of action with a broken collarbone
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that AEW star Riho suffered a broken collarbone during her Battle of the Belts match against women’s champion Britt Baker. Meltzer said the following…
“She will be out 3 months, and that’s the time frame. She got it in the Britt Baker match, and that was early in the match. That’s a broken clavicle, and it’s a super painful injury. The deal is, I don’t know the spot, but I was told it was very early on in the match. She did the entire match. She never complained, but she must have been in incredible pain during that match.” (quote courtesy of RingsideNews.com)
Riho confirmed the injury with the following post on Twitter which was translated from Japanese…
“I’m in Japan now! I have broken my collarbone and am treating it. (It doesn’t hurt so much anymore) Take a rest, heal completely, and do your best again!”
いま日本にいます!
鎖骨を折ってしまい、治療しております。(もうそんなに痛みはない)ゆっくり休んで、完全に治して、また頑張ります〜!!! https://t.co/RGyfaDELj3
