AEW said to be “heavily interested” in wrestler that was released from WWE during 2025
In February of 2025, multiple WWE wrestlers were released from the company including Isla Dawn. During WrestleVotes Radio, the following was said about Dawn’s future in wrestling…
“We have learned through sources that AEW is heavily interested in recently released talent, Isla Dawn. So much so, according to one source, she was recently backstage at an AEW taping… the expectation is that she will begin working AEW shows in the very near future.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
Following the news of her departure, Dawn vowed to continue with her wrestling career. Dawn wrote the following message to fans…
“The white witch is gone. The unholy enchantress buried in the grave. Two-time tag team champion, ashes in an urn. But don’t grieve for me. Isla Dawn’s not dead yet.”
