AEW reportedly hires former Vice President of Global Television Production for WWE

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that Michael Mansury, the former Vice President of Global Television Production for WWE, has been hired by AEW and will start his duties with the company this week. Johnson wrote the following…

“We are told he was backstage at the Full Gear PPV a few weeks back as well, but he is now officially with the company. Mansury’s official title is Senior Vice President & Co-Executive Producer for AEW. This is a big backstage hire for the company.”

Mansury worked with WWE from March 2009 through May 2020 and was considered to be a “big part” of Triple H’s regime. Johnson noted that some within WWE at the time dubbed Mansury unofficially as the “next” Kevin Dunn and a number of people were said to have been “shocked” about his departure.
