AEW news items regarding Saraya being cleared, CM Punk/The Elite, and Bandido

Here are a few AEW news items for October 7th 2022 via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com…

* As seen during the October 5th 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite, Saraya was involved in a physical brawl with Britt Baker. According to Meltzer, Saraya has been officially cleared by Dr. Michael Sampson.

* AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the CM Punk/The Elite situation earlier this week but said that he couldn’t comment on anything. Meltzer wrote that “we’ve been hearing a decent amount about it the past week, largely that threatened legal action has stalled everything and nobody has been let go yet including Ace Steel.”

* In regards to Bandido’s AEW status, Meltzer wrote that “those close to Bandido believed that he had signed but we are told that is not official yet and it’s been confirmed that as of 10/6 pen hasn’t been put to paper.”
