AEW news items regarding Chris Jericho, Mark Henry, and Arthur Ashe Stadium
Here are some AEW news items via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com…
* Chris Jericho will possibly be off AEW television in early December as his band Fozzy has a United Kingdom tour scheduled. Meltzer noted that Jericho “may appear on the shows doing pretapes depending on where his storyline is.”
* Last week, Mark Henry criticized “Hangman” Adam Page giving PAC a deadeye off a ladder through a table as PAC allegedly “just had a concussion a month and a half ago.”
Meltzer wrote that Henry’s claim was “inaccurate” and that PAC “hasn’t had one any time remotely recently.”
* Arthur Ashe Stadium paid for an advertisement in the Sports Business Journal which was said to be unbeknownst to people in AEW. The ad read as follows…
“Thank you to Tony Khan, Rafael Morffi and the entire team at All Elite Wrestling for bringing the largest attended pro wrestling event in over a decade NYC.”
Meltzer noted that it was actually the largest attended wrestling event in New York City since the 1980’s.
Arthur Ashe Stadium took out a full page ad thanking AEW after Grand Slam.
