AEW injury news regarding Jamie Hayter, Thunder Rosa, and Santana
Here are a few AEW news items for July 28th 2023 via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com…
* Jamie Hayter has been injured and in regards to her status for AEW All In, Meltzer wrote that “there has been at least talk she won’t make it back for Wembley which obviously would be the goal if possible.”
* There’s still no word regarding when Thunder Rosa will be wrestling again in AEW but Meltzer noted that she has been back in the ring. Rosa has reportedly been training on a regular basis with Shoichi Funaki in San Antonio for her return from injury.
* Santana suffered a knee injury during the 2022 Blood and Guts cage match as his left leg buckled while hitting a uranage. Santana, who has been out of action for a full year, is reportedly training for his return. There is speculation that Santana and Ortiz have settled their issues and will reunite as a team.
