AEW Dynamite sees a surge in viewership for the Pac tribute edition

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the September 30th 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 899,000 viewers on TBS. This is an increase from the 641,000 viewers who watched the September 23rd episode.

Wednesday’s episode was a tribute to the late Pac, who passed away on Sunday.

Dynamite earned a 0.22 rating in the key 18–49 demographic, up from the previous week’s 0.10. It was the show’s highest rating in the demographic since April 2024.

Meltzer noted the following about the viewership numbers…

“If you factor in MAX and the number of homes that now get TBS, it would be among the most impressive totals in the history of the show. In actual viewer rating based on the number of homes that get the station, it beat the first episode in 2019 which was the highest in history (899,000 viewers in 53.7 million homes vs. 1.4 million in 90.1 milion homes) and this number does not include streaming.”
