A new WWE world championship belt design being unveiled for Roman Reigns?
Roman Reigns will be celebrating 1000 days as the unified WWE Universal champion on the June 2nd 2023 edition of WWE Smackdown. While it hasn’t been announced yet, a new championship belt design could be unveiled for Reigns based on internal memos within the company from this week. Fightful Select stated the following regarding the recent creative discussion for Reigns’ segment…
“We’re told that as of that creative, there were also memos that mentioned ‘New WWE Universal Championship’ on it. There is set to be a podium, where the ‘New WWE Universal Championship’ would be unveiled to the world.”
The presentation for Reigns’ celebration could be similar to when The Rock unveiled a new WWE title design in 2013. It should be noted that these are the expected plans for Reigns’ segment but they could end up being changed.
On Thursday, Reigns tweeted the following about his 1000 days celebration as champion…
“Tough times made me the Tribal Chief I am today. The Greatest of All Time. ☝🏽000 days as the undisputed best in the world! #AcknowledgeMe #SmackDown”
