Which match is rumored to open the 2023 WWE Night of Champions PLE
WWE has been hyping up three “main event” matches for the 2023 Night of Champions PLE: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, and Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles. According to PWInsider.com, Rollins is Styles is currently the match that is planned to kick off the show. Better Wrestling Experience (@BoozerRasslin) tweeted that “the word is Seth needs to wrestle and fly back ASAP for his movie contract obligations.”
Styles said the following about Rollins’ absence during the Night of Champions press conference…
“Where is Seth Rollins now? There’s no disrespect to Seth Rollins. God knows everyone would love to be a Hollywood star but I’m more focused on what I’m doing here in the WWE, becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion.”
