Adam Copeland makes announcement regarding his plans to retire from wrestling
During the October 14th 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland qualified for the Clockwork Carnage match at the WrestleDream PPV event. Copeland stated the following in a promo after the match…
“My face isn’t on the posters on teenagers’ wall anymore. I’m aging out, and that’s okay. It happens to everybody. But because of that, I just want to let y’all know that 2027 will be my last year in professional wrestling.
It’s time. But all of that being said, that is why I HAVE to go for the AEW championship.”
