During the October 9th 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley defeated Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley of Fatal Influence to become the new WWE women’s tag team champions. Alexa hit Sister Abigail on Reid outside of the ring, allowing Paxley to deliver Cemetery Drive to Henley for the three-count and the title victory.

Alexa had replaced Charlotte Flair, who was attacked by Jade Cargill and The Baddies earlier in the broadcast.
