Backstage news regarding the reaction to Roman Reigns’ promo with LA Knight on WWE RAW

During the October 5th 2026 edition of WWE RAW, Roman Reigns and LA Knight had an in-ring promo segment to build their upcoming match at Money in the Bank.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, the segment received considerable praise backstage. A source stated that several WWE officials and members of the production team were particularly impressed with Reigns’ back-and-forth with Knight, specifically noting the level of emotion Reigns displayed. The source noted that Reigns has sometimes been more reserved in that area.

The reaction was reportedly strong enough that there were discussions internally about how effective that version of Reigns could be used moving forward in the appropriate setting.
