Ricochet says “no one is at fault” in regards to Steven Borden’s injury at AEW All Out
As seen during the 2026 AEW All Out PPV event, Steven Borden suffered an injury following a mid-air collision with Kevin Knight, resulting in the match being stopped. Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas was critical of the spot as he wrote the following message via Twitter/X…
“Maybe learn how to work before trying crazy sh*t in the ring. Hope Steven is ok, but the higher ups failed him by allowing him to try a spot like that!”
AEW’s Ricochet replied to Korderas, saying, “You’re such a loser b*tch.” Ricochet then addressed comparisons between Borden’s spot with Knight and his own mid-air collision with Logan Paul at the 2023 Royal Rumble. He noted that they didn’t do extensive rehearsing…
“We tried it once and that was basically it.
But it doesn’t matter if we practiced it once or 100 times. People have been hurt in wrestling doing high risk and low risk moves. It unfortunately is an aspect we face every time we step into the ring.
No one is at fault here. Its just an unfortunate situation. So lets just hope that Steven continues to get better. 🙏🏽”
