Myron Reed of The Rascalz addresses bump from AEW Collision that received online criticism

As seen during the September 19th 2026 edition of AEW Collision, Darby Allin defeated Myron Reed to retain the TNT Championship. At one point, Reed attempted a dive to the outside but crashed through a chair.

The spot drew criticism on Twitter/X, including from former WCW star Crowbar, who wrote, “Protect your extremely talented investments who can build your company around – don’t be afraid to tell them ‘No’ …..so they’re there for years to come.”

Former WCW star Disco Inferno also commented, “If these kids want to use a platform where people can see them try to cripple themselves, there needs to be a discussion on what you think your audience is, and what you should be doing to entertain them. This isn’t wrestling.”

Reed responded to the criticism, writing, “When you put the pro in professional wrestler 😎 I train very hard to do stuff that looks gnarly, safe. No one works harder than the #YUNGGOAT. Also, go watch the entire match, not just the clip. I’m cooking here, stay tuned. ❤️”

Reed’s partner Zachary Wentz defended him, writing, “Myron is incredible. He had an opportunity to match an ex AEW champion, notoriously known to go crazy and did. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him grow from a boy to a man and I couldn’t be more proud. Myron will be a world champion one day. I promise you that.”
