Former WWE star Kane (Glenn Jacobs) comments on his term as mayor of Knox County coming to an end

In an official video, former WWE star Kane (Glenn Jacobs) reflected on his eight years as Knox County, TN mayor ahead of leaving office due to term limits. Here is what Jacobs had to say…

“Ultimately the measure of the mayor is, did you leave your community in a better place than when you started? Overall, I feel that is what has happened here. Knox County was already the best place to live, work and raise a family. I hope working together, we’ve made it even better than it was eight years ago. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to be a small part of that.”

A report from wate.com stated that Jacobs cited not raising taxes, Operation Heroes, the START Center, school-related initiatives and downtown projects among his biggest accomplishments. Regarding his political future, he said he would have to consider whether another run for office would be the right decision for his family, noting that Knox County mayor is a major commitment.
