New WWE NXT women’s world champion crowned at Heatwave

At WWE NXT Heatwave 2026, Kelani Jordan defeated Kendal Grey to win the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time. The finish saw Jordan send Grey into an exposed turnbuckle on the apron, driving her injured ear into the exposed area. Jordan followed up with the One of a Kind split-legged moonsault and covered Grey for the victory.

Wren Sinclair, who lost the NXT Women’s Speed Championship earlier in the night, consoled Grey after the match as Jordan celebrated her championship victory.
