Update on WWE’s interest in Scott Steiner’s son Brock Rechsteiner amid NFL suspension news
Brock Rechsteiner, the son of Scott Steiner and cousin of Bron Breakker, is a wide receiver who signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted rookie in May of 2026. He is currently facing a six-game NFL suspension although a reason was not provided.
According to Fightful.com, a WWE higher-up was excited about the possibility of signing Rechsteiner when he joined the Saints and reportedly thinks the suspension won’t change WWE’s interest in him. The official reportedly believes there is a “99.9 percent chance” WWE will offer Rechsteiner a contract once his NFL career is over.
The belief is that WWE officials have been monitoring Brock since his college days and don’t expect him to go through a traditional WWE tryout. Instead, the company would be willing to sign him outright.
Rechsteiner reportedly joined WWE’s NIL (Next in Line) program in 2025.
