WWE reportedly making change to Wrestlemania 38’s format
The Covid-19 pandemic forced WWE to break from tradition and Wrestlemania 36 became a two-night event with no fans in attendance. Wrestlemania 37 was also a two-night event with a limited capacity crowd.
It was initially believed that Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas, Texas would return to the traditional one-night format but Fightful Select reports that there are currently plans for WWE Wrestlemania 38 to be a two-night event as well. The decision was said to be made due to the positive reception that the previous two Wrestlemania events received.
Wrestlemania 38, which is currently scheduled for one night on Sunday, April 3rd 2022, could end up being the first full-capacity WWE event that takes place on two separate nights.
It has been rumored for months that The Rock will be facing Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 38. In a recent interview with ITRWrestling.com, Paul Heyman addressed the possible match…
“If The Rock steps into the ring with Roman Reigns at any time, let alone at Wrestlemania, that will be The Rock’s farewell, whether The Rock wants it to be or not.”
