Matt Cardona comments on his wife Chelsea Green winning the interim WWE women’s title

As seen during the 2026 WWE SummerSlam Sunday PLE, Chelsea Green became the Interim WWE Women’s Champion by winning a five-way ladder match. In a post via Twitter/X, Chelsea’s husband Matt Cardona commented on her victory…

“Prove people RIGHT! I was with you when they wouldn’t even give you a try out. I was with you when they fired you. I knew you were a superstar. The fans knew you were a superstar. I love you Chelsea Green… the NEW WWE Women’s Champion!”

Cardona also wrote “I’m gonna get heat for this somehow” in response to Chelsea dedicating her win to WWE Producer Michael Hayes.
