Bayley: “I feel like I’m taking a further look back at everything and knowing my worth in this business”
As seen at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley in a singles match. During a commercial break on WWE RAW, Lyra referenced the victory in a promo by saying, “I dropped a load of dead weight on Saturday when I ran Bayley out of here.”
A video blog was published to Bayley’s Instagram account on Tuesday, featuring comments from her just prior to SNME. Bayley stated the following in the video…
“Just to wrestle inside the Garden is— perform inside of the Garden is obviously like bucket list for a lot of performers. Whether you’re in sports or you’re a musician or you’re in the WWE. Yeah, it’s a big deal anytime you you get to be a part of it. I’ve been doing this for so long and I’ve wrestled in the Garden multiple times, a really good amount of times, thankfully. But this one just feels different.
I think that like the time and the stage I am in my career right now, I feel like I’m taking a further look back at everything. It’s like, or seeing it from a different view and knowing my place in this business and knowing my worth in this business and Lyra’s going to find out the hard way, let’s just say that.”
