News regarding absent WWE stars including Randy Orton as SummerSlam 2026 approaches
According to WrestleVotes Radio, an internal document distributed earlier this month referenced both Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre in connection with WWE SummerSlam 2026. While neither man has appeared since WrestleMania 42, indications suggest that both are expected to be back in time for the event.
Orton has reportedly been recovering from a back injury while McIntyre took time off to film his part in the upcoming Highlander movie.
As for CM Punk, he is also expected to be back on WWE telvision soon. WrestleVotes noted that all signs are pointing to his return on or by Monday July 6th when RAW emanates from the Allstate Arena in Chicago.
