MJF says Mick Foley is “fat and ugly” amid rumors of Foley potentially joining AEW

According to a report from Jon Alba of SI.com, the Legends deal of WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is set to expire within the next month. It was also noted that AEW reportedly has interest in working with Foley.

Amid the rumors, MJF spoke to Alba about Foley…

“I think Mick Foley is fat and he’s ugly, and I think he was the blueprint of what Darby Allin is now, which makes me hate him even more. That’s what I think of Mick Foley.”

In 2025, Foley stated that he held a “top secret meeting” with MJF about the possibility of having a retirement match with him.
