Kevin Nash says WWE WrestleMania 42 weekend “felt kind of soulless”
While speaking on his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discussed his experience of being in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 weekend…
“I’m so detached from the product and everything else that, to me, the whole weekend—maybe because I was running on fumes—felt kind of soulless.
[Did it feel like—like a corporate event] I’m not stupid and I’m not naive. I understand that, at the end of the day, it’s a business.
But once it left Vince [McMahon]’s hands—whether you love Vince or not, from a business standpoint—if you had a relationship with him and you were a guy who pushed those numbers—like [Shawn] Michaels, Triple H, Steve [Austin], Undertaker—you had a relationship that was gold.
Now, I don’t think they look at Steve and Taker the same way. I’m talking about TKO—or, as we now refer to it, ‘the adjustment bureau,’ whatever they want to call themselves. They just don’t show the same level of appreciation.
It’s almost like having a president with no experience in warfare—someone who just doesn’t quite get it.”
