Kendal Grey reveals the backstage reaction to scary table spot involving Sol Ruca on WWE NXT
As seen during the April 20th 2026 edition of WWE NXT, Sol Ruca was pushed off a platform by Zaria at the end of their Last Woman Standing match. After hitting the back of her head on a table, Sol required eight staples.
While speaking to The Mark Hoke Show, NXT’s Kendal Grey revealed the backstage reaction to the spot…
“We were all back there watching. We were speechless—just standing there with our mouths wide open, not knowing how to react in that moment.
Then when she came back, I mean, she’s awesome—she’s amazing at what she does. She came back with a towel on her head like, ‘Heck yeah,’ smiling and everything. She’s awesome, but it was definitely a scary moment for all of us.
There was a lot of concern for her, because obviously that could have been really, really bad. It was bad, but it could always be worse. So seeing her come back with a positive mindset and smiling was reassuring, because all of us were definitely scared.”
