Results of AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch at WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday

AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch for the women’s Intercontinental title took place at WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday. Here are the highlights…

Rock band The Wonder Years performed for Becky’s entrance, while AJ’s entrance had several kids dressed up as her on stage.

Becky had the early momentum with moves including a top-rope leg drop and an exploder suplex. Becky tried to expose the top turnbuckle but was stopped by the referee. AJ was able to take advantage of Becky being distracted.

Becky was able to regain the advantage with a Manhandle Slam, but AJ kicked out. Becky shoved referee Jessica Carr, and Carr shoved her back. AJ delivered a Manhandle Slam of her own, but Becky kicked out.

AJ applied the Black Widow, but Becky managed to escape. Becky pulled Jessica in front of her and then sent AJ into the re-exposed turnbuckle while Jessica wasn’t looking. Becky then pinned AJ with another Manhandle Slam.
