While speaking to Complex Graps The Podcast, Jade Cargill commented on being the WWE women’s champion heading into WrestleMania 42…
“One of the dream matches I wanted to have, among others, was against Charlotte Flair. And I thought that’s actually the opponent I was going to face at Mania—the likes of Charlotte Flair. You know, we’ve been teasing it for so long, and I think that’s a money-making match.
I mean, she’s a queen in her own right, right? And I am as well. And I think we have such similar aesthetics sometimes that it’s more of a ‘who’s who,’ like who’s really that queen, or whatever you want to say.
I didn’t really dream book Rhea [Ripley] as being the person I would have had my Mania match with this year.”
