Thekla (c) vs. Kris Statlander in a two out of three falls match took place at AEW Revolution 2026. Here are the highlights…

Statlander dominated in the early part of the match with power moves that included a delayed superplex. Thekla used her flexibility to dodge an attack from Statlander. Thekla was able to score the first fall after pinning Statlander while grabbing the rope.

The second fall started with an angry Statlander going after Thekla on the outside. However, Statlander ended up crashing into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Statlander was able to counter Thekla’s spear with a lariat. Thekla regained the advantage with a Spider Suplex. After the fight went to the outside, Statlander swung Thekla back and forth into the barricades and then sent her into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Thekla tried to apply a submission, but Statlander countered with the Sunday Night Fever to win the second fall.

Right when the third fall started, the referee got knocked out of the ring. Thekla took the referee’s belt and tried to use it as a weapon, but Statlander took the belt and hit Thekla with it. Statlander hit the Sunday Night Fever again, but there was no referee. The Sisters of Sin ran to the ring, but Statlander managed to fight them off with the belt. However, the referee grabbed the belt, which allowed Thekla to pin Statlander after hitting a spear followed by two stomps.
