What WWE is doing to increase ticket sales for the Elimination Chamber PLE in Chicago
It is being reported by Fightful.com that WWE has introduced strict blackout rules ahead of the 2026 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. The policy reportedly blocks Elimination Chamber watch parties in the Chicago area, similar to restrictions previously enforced for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, where businesses within 50 miles of Allegiant Stadium were barred from hosting public viewings.
The strategy is designed to push local fans to attend the event live rather than watch at bars or theaters. However, it has frustrated Chicago-area business owners who typically benefit from wrestling-related crowds. Under the company’s current domestic and international media agreements, it has adopted a stricter approach to public performance licensing to maximize gate revenue during a period of record growth.
As of February 20th, the Chamber PLE had 14,895 tickets distributed with a setup of 17,016 seats at the United Center. The cheapest standard admission ticket was listed at $261.05.
