How WWE is reacting to disappointing ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas

Twitter/X account WrestleTix reported that as of February 5th 2026, WWE WrestleMania 42 Sunday had 36,737 tickets distributed. By comparison, WrestleMania 41 Sunday had 45,806 tickets distributed on February 7th 2025.

WWE is reportedly taking steps to boost ticket sales for WrestleMania after they fell short of internal expectations. According to WrestleVotes Radio, the company held a multi-department meeting on February 11th to develop new strategies aimed at increasing sales and building momentum ahead of the event.

WrestleVotes Radio stated the following…

“WWE held a multi-department company meeting yesterday to address WrestleMania ticket sales. According to a source, leadership acknowledged internally that the current numbers are below expectations, all departments have been tasked with developing strategies and promotions to roll out beginning in late February in an effort to boost momentum and sales heading into the event. Additionally, we’re told WWE intends to keep current ticket pricing as is for the time being.”

According to Fightful.com’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE has been strictly prohibiting WrestleMania watch parties at venues within 50 miles of Allegiant Stadium. The move reportedly frustrated several local businesses, especially since Las Vegas paid a site fee to host the event with the goal of boosting tourism.
