Chelsea Green misses AAA event due to injury she suffered on WWE SmackDown

Chelsea Green suffered a foot injury and was pulled from Saturday’s AAA on Fox event, where she was originally scheduled to team with Ethan Page in a AAA Mixed Tag Team title defense against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana.

Chelsea appeared via FaceTime during the broadcast, showing her foot in a walking boot and informing Page she couldn’t compete. Corey Graves noted on commentary that the injury occurred during Chelsea’s three-way Elimination Chamber qualifying match on SmackDown against Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend. The injury was later confirmed by Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com.

With Green sidelined, La Hiedra replaced her but was pinned by Lola Vice, resulting in Vice and Mr. Iguana winning the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships. No details have been released regarding the severity of Green’s injury or a timeline for her return.

Chelsea shared photos along with the following message via Twitter/X…

“The AUDACITY of @luchalibreaaa to throw @OfficialEGO into a match like that after I almost ended my career on Smackdown last night from a near fatal fall 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Ethan, we need to talk!!!”
