Various talent have reportedly been told that WWE isn’t looking to hire people for the time being

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that TNA Wrestling has reportedly signed Jake Something, Steve Maclin, Zachary Wentz, and AJ Francis to short-term, three-month contracts. Due to the brief nature of the deals and ongoing uncertainty within the company, some talent have reportedly reached out to WWE, despite expectations that TNA’s new TV deal with AMC should improve its overall financial situation.

Meltzer stated the following…

“We were told that of late talent from both TNA and AEW who have called WWE have been told that they aren’t looking at hiring new people. The idea is that they have so many in developmental, many of whom are ready that they don’t need new people. This is not an absolute, and obviously guys the level of [Chris] Jericho or [Leon] Slater wouldn’t necessarily fall into that category.”
