Santos Escobar has reportedly come to terms with WWE on a new contract
Santos Escobar has not wrestled in WWE since a live event on July 27th 2025. There has been speculation about Escobar’s status with the company and then it was reported that his contract was expiring.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Escobar has come to terms with WWE on a new deal. According to reports, WWE management took Escobar’s creative concerns into account and presented him with a significantly improved offer compared to previous negotiations. The two sides are believed to have reached an agreement late Tuesday.
While there’s no word yet on when Escobar will resume traveling with the roster, his new contract confirms that he’s once again working for WWE.
