TNA President Carlos Silva says Bobby Roode’s comments about Joe Hendry caught him off guard

As seen during the September 16th 2025 edition of WWE NXT, Bobby Roode suggested that former TNA Wrestling world champion Joe Hendry focus on the NXT title. While speaking to the Battleground podcast, TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva addressed Hendry’s status with TNA…

“It caught me off guard when he [Roode] said it as well. And so yes, he is [still with TNA]. He is until he’s not. Joe’s been great for us. Joe’s been great with WWE and NXT. We’ll continue to sort of work through that together as good partners do.”

As previously noted, there are rumors of Hendry debuting full-time with WWE in early 2026.
