Kenny Omega issues response to internet report that claims he is taking time off from AEW

As seen during the September 3rd 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite, there was an injury angle involving Kenny Omega. After Kyle Fletcher gave Omega a brainbuster through a table, Omega was placed in a neck brace and taken out of the building on a stretcher.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com was told from AEW sources that Omega had plans to take time off ahead of AEW All Out 2025 and is expected to miss the event. Omega addressed the report with the following message…

“Time off? Specialized hospital visits and work that had been planned for a year, but sure, let’s bait the trolls. I’m just trying to improve what I can and represent the company in a positive way while not performing. Don’t be misleading with headlines, please and thank you.”
