WWE is reportedly “embarrassed” about the Ozzy Osbourne comments made by Becky Lynch on RAW

As seen during the August 25th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, there was a promo segment between Intercontinental champion Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella. At one point, Becky took a shot at the city of Birmingham, England when she said “the only good thing that came outta here died a month ago.” Becky added, “But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to L.A. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”

Ozzy’s daughter Kelly publicly called out Becky and during Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com said the following about the situation…

“I can tell you this was not like they called her, and then they’re doing something together… Kelly is not happy. I was told WWE is embarrassed, and they’re probably going to do an apology. They may not. But if you look back at how many times WWE has actually apologized for something, it ain’t many. There’s discussion about doing a public apology. I know they’ve talked about doing a private apology.”
