Full WWE SmackDown results for August 22nd 2025 from Dublin, Ireland

The show opened with Ireland’s Becky Lynch. Becky hyped up the first SmackDown in Dublin, and there was a “we deserve it” chant—but she told the crowd they didn’t deserve it. The fans then started a “we want Lyra” chant, but Becky said Lyra wouldn’t be getting another Intercontinental Title opportunity. Becky declared that she was Dublin’s hero, which prompted the crowd to respond with a “shut the f*ck up” chant. Later, when Becky mentioned her “hot American husband” Seth Rollins, fans broke out with a “CM Punk” chant.

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton interrupted Becky’s promo. Tiffany told Becky that she could either leave on her own or be forced out—but before anything could happen, Nia Jax stormed in and attacked Tiffany. Becky then joined in on the assault, but Jade Cargill ran down to make the save. General Manager Nick Aldis came out and announced a tag team match for the main event.

Backstage, Fraxiom warned Carmelo Hayes about The Miz. Carmelo defended Miz, unaware that Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy were watching from the background.

The opening match featured The Miz and Carmelo Hayes taking on Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. Carmelo immediately tagged himself in at the start, but the fans made it clear they wanted Miz. The Motor City Machine Guns used their double-team offense to gain the early advantage.

The crowd chanted “TNA” as the Motor City Machine Guns kept control, but Miz managed to counter the Skull and Bones. Miz and Carmelo built momentum, though some miscommunication slowed them down. Despite the slip-up, Carmelo hit Sabin with a Codebreaker, and Miz capitalized by scoring the pinfall.

Backstage, Sami Zayn congratulated Jimmy Uso on Naomi’s pregnancy. The celebration was interrupted by Solo Sikoa and the MFTs. Solo suggested the baby be named after him, but Jimmy responded with a firm, “No yeet.”

The next match featured Charlotte Flair taking on Piper Niven. Commentary noted that Alexa Bliss was not in attendance. Chelsea Green interfered early, giving Piper the advantage. Charlotte eventually fought back but was unable to put Piper away with either a moonsault or a spear. After Alba Fyre distracted the referee, Chelsea raked Charlotte’s eyes, allowing Piper to hit a Michinoku Driver for the pinfall victory.

Backstage, Kiana James told Michin that she would have to go through her first if she wanted a match against Giulia. Michin accepted the challenge, while Nikki Cross was shown watching in the background.

Fans sang John Cena’s theme as he made his way to the ring for a promo. Before Cena could speak, Logan Paul came down to the ring. The crowd chanted “f*ck you, Logan,” but he dismissed them, saying they were being muted. Logan called Cena a corporate pawn and described him as an actor who simply knows how to wrestle.

Cena called Logan a tremendous athlete and a potential future WrestleMania main eventer, but also said he was a disappointment. Cena accused Logan of using WWE as a branding opportunity and proceeded to knock over the PRIME display outside the ring. After flipping off Logan, Cena told the crowd they could see through his BS and labeled Logan a parasite. He called out the names of wrestlers whose spotlight Logan was stealing, including AJ Styles. Cena said Logan understands hustle, but knows nothing about loyalty and respect. He warned Logan to bring his A-game to Paris—or else he’d beat the ever-loving “shite” out of him. The segment concluded with Logan taking a swing at Cena, but Cena countered and hit him with the Attitude Adjustment.

Backstage, Jade warned that she would be coming for Tiffany’s title following their tag team match.

Backstage, Drew McIntyre told Logan that he seemed scared of John Cena. McIntyre added that Logan is in his prime and needs to make things right… whatever it takes.

The next match featured The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) taking on JC Mateo and Tonga Loa. Loa gained the early advantage for his team by sending Ford shoulder-first into the ring post. The crowd chanted “You can’t wrestle” at JC as he worked over Ford. The momentum shifted when Ford tagged in Dawkins. After all four men brawled in the ring, Tala Tonga interfered, but the MFTs still couldn’t secure the win. Jimmy Uso then arrived with a chair, though Tala managed to fight back into the crowd. Following a Helluva Kick from Sami Zayn to Solo, The Street Profits capitalized and pinned JC for the victory.

Aleister Black was scheduled to face R-Truth, but Truth claimed he wasn’t there because he had accidentally flown to Dublin, Georgia. A replacement was named, who turned out to be Damian Priest. The match never officially started, as the two brawled while security repeatedly tried to separate them.

Drew McIntyre came to ringside and questioned why there was no medical update on Cody Rhodes. He called Cody “a little bitch” and claimed he had no friends left. Suddenly, Randy Orton appeared and hit McIntyre with an RKO out of nowhere.

Solo Sikoa vs. Sami Zayn was announced for next week’s SmackDown in Lyon, France.

The main event featured Becky Lynch and Nia Jax taking on Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill. Early in the match, Tiffany hit a Swanton Bomb to both Becky and Nia on the outside. Despite the early setback, Becky and Nia quickly regrouped and gained the upper hand. Jade tagged in and built momentum for her team. After Becky exited the ring, Jade powerbombed Nia out of the corner. Tiffany followed up with a moonsault on Nia, and then Jade pinned Nia to secure the victory for her team.

Backstage, Nick Aldis told John Cena that he had heard from Brock Lesnar. Before anything else could be said, Logan punched Cena. The show then went off the air.
