There is “lots of talk” about Chris Jericho potentially returning to WWE in 2026
As seen during the 2025 AEW Dynasty PPV event, Chris Jericho lost the ROH title to Bandido. On the April 9th 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite, Jericho walked out on Big Bill and Bryan Keith and has been off television ever since.
In recent days, there have been rumors about Jericho potentially returning to WWE once his AEW contract expires. The speculation started when Jericho liked a post on Instagram that asked that question, “Will Chris Jericho make his WWE return in 2026?”
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…
“(Chris) Jericho is actually a really big story. His (AEW) contract is up at the end of the year, or late in the year, and there’s certainly been lots and lots of talk about WWE. I know from a WWE standpoint that there is lots of talk there about Jericho. People speculating Royal Rumble.
