Update regarding WWE’s plans for September event against AEW All Out 2025

Last week, it was reported that WWE will be adding a PLE in September on the same day as AEW’s All Out PPV event. In an update, Twitter/X account @WrestleVotes wrote “September 20th, it’s a ‘Wrestlepalooza’…” Wrestlepalooza was the name of an event produced by ECW.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following…

“There has been discussion within the broadcast industry over the last few days that the planned added WWE event for this September (scheduled for 9/20 in Indianapolis) could end up being an extra, unique event that would air on ESPN as a preview of the type of programming WWE will bring to that new partnership when it officially kicks off in April 2026.”

Johnson added that WWE is currently planning to reveal details about the new event this week.
