Multiple matches confirmed for the 2025 WWE SummerSlam PLE

During the July 14th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, multiple matches were announced for the SummerSlam PLE on August 1st and 2nd. Here is what was confirmed…

* Women’s world champion Naomi will defend her title against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky in a triple threat.

* Lyra Valkyria will challenge Becky Lynch for the women’s Intercontinental title. Lyra earned her opportunity by defeating Bayley in a two-out-of-three falls match.

* Gunther will defend the men’s world title against CM Punk. Punk won a gauntlet match to become the #1 contender.

These matches join John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill, and Randy Orton & Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul as matches officially set for SummerSlam.
