Alexa Bliss confirms internet reports about her surprise return at the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble PLE

As seen during the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble PLE, Alexa Bliss had her first match in two years. At the time, it was reported that Alexa made a last-minute agreement with WWE just prior the show.

While appearing on The Bella Twins’ podcast, Alexa confirmed the reports about her surprise return being a late decision…

“I got the call at like, midnight the night before. It wasn’t fully decided until like 4am and I get a call at five. They’re like, ‘Alright, we need you on a plane by 10am.’ I’m in my my house at 3am… trying not to wake up the baby, because my gear is in, like, next to her closet. And I’m like, looking through old gear, being like, ‘Alright, what could still fit me?’ No one knew I was there, not even, you know, the girls didn’t know I was there until I was in gorilla. No one.
