Sasha Banks makes her return on the July 30th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown

During the July 30th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown, women’s champion Bianca Belair was attacked by Carmella and Zelina Vega. Sasha Banks ended up making the save for Bianca and the two hugged.

Sasha teamed up with Bianca in the main event of the show against Carmella and Zelina. Sasha and Bianca won the match but then Sasha attacked Bianca as they were celebrating. Sasha held up the title and Bianca tapped out to the Banks statement as Smackdown went off the air.

Sasha’s last match was at Wrestlemania 37 when she lost the Smackdown women’s title to Bianca Belair. The speculation has been that Sasha would return to challenge Belair in a rematch at Summerslam.

While not confirmed, it’s believed that Sasha has been filming material as Koska Reeves, her Star Wars character, for Disney+ Lucasfilm projects during her absence from WWE television.
