Results of Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson at AEW All In 2024

Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Bryan Danielson for the world title took place at AEW All In 2024. Here are the highlights…

* Bryan made his entrance to The Final Countdown. Bryan hugged Brie Garcia (Bella) and his children at ringside. Swerve had a live rap performance for his entrance.

* The two fought on the outside early and Bryan hit a springboard canonball dive to Swerve. Bryan got Swerve back in the ring and targeted the arm. It wasn’t too long until Swerve was able to shift the momentum in his favorite.

* When the referee inadvertently got struck, Prince Nana brought over a ring bell to the apron and Swerve gave Bryan a DVD onto the bell. Bryan, who was busted open, barely beat the ten count back into the ring. Swerve kicked Bryan’s head in right next to Brie and the kids at ringside.

* Back in the ring, Bryan was eventually able to make a comeback. Bryan applied cattle mutilation but Swerve was able to escape and dropped Bryan with a vertebreaker. The referee brought the medical team in to check on Bryan. Swerve continued his offense and hit a swerve stomp but Bryan kicked out.

* Swerve hit two house call kicks. Bryan reached out to his family as Swerve hit a third one but Bryan managed to kick out.

* Swerve went after Bryan with yes kicks and that fired Bryan up. Bryan slapped Swerve and started delivering his yes kicks. Bryan hit the running knee but Swerve brushed it off and nailed Bryan with another house call kick. Swerve took down Bryan with big pressure but Bryan kicked out again.

* Swerve taunted Bryan’s “yes” chants but then Hangman Page showed up and stopped by security. Bryan took advantage with the running knee but Swerve kicked out.

* Bryan hit another running knee and got fired up. Bryan applied the LeBell lock and while Swerve tried to fight out, he tapped out.

After the match, Bryan celebrated his world title victory with his family and Blackpool Combat Club as the show went off the air.
