Results of Oba Femi vs. Wes Lee at WWE NXT Heatwave 2024

Oba Femi (c) vs. Wes Lee for the North American title took place at WWE NXT Heatwave 2024. Here are the highlights…

* Lee slapped Femi and used his speed in the early moments. Lee delivered a springboard dropkick but couldn’t take Femi down. Femi grabbed Lee and tossed him high in the air which led to a “holy shit” chant from the fans. Femi took Lee to the outside and threw him into the exposed ring apron.

* Back in the ring, Femi dominated Lee but then Femi missed a running charge and Lee and hit the ring post. Lee sent Femi over the top but his momentum was short-lived as Femi caught him with a chop on the apron.

* Lee was finally able to make a comeback. Lee hit a meterora and went for a springboard clothesline but was caught with an uppercut. Lee hit the cardiac kick but Femi kicked out. Lee delivered a frogplash but Femi popped back up. Femi countered another cardiac kick attempt and won with a sitdown powerbomb.
