Philadelphia officials already interested in having WWE Wrestlemania return to the city

WWE Wrestlemania 40 was said to have been the most successful event in company history. According to an article from the Sports Business Journal, tourism officials in Philadelphia, PA are looking to bring the event back to the city. It’s being said that the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau will start conversations with the WWE in the “not too distant future.”

Larry Needle, executive director of the organization’s PHL Sports division, said the following to SBJ…

“This is such a highly-coveted event that we know there’s a long line of cities clamoring to host, and that’s just the reality of an event of this magnitude. But needless to say, we would be thrilled to have Wrestlemania back, and at the right time we will engage in those conversations with the WWE.”
